Surely the fit is what is most evident in the perceptions of finish carpentry however, what isn’t seen are the choices and decisions presented and made, respectively, throughout any procedure.
Finish carpentry is a major part of every service we offer. It is adhering to the fundamentals of how something should be done with the foresight to identify and resolve potential problems, in prior, that may be particular to any specific home. Increase the number of variables and you will need to increase the number of skill sets needed to produce a specific result. These skill sets I speak of are all derived from one’s will. Oh, you’re a lead window installer yet you are unable to perform a quality installation of new interior surround and casing if need be. Well, not with this company. We’ve got apprentices and some laborer’s that perform these procedures. Our lead guys, well, they run the show and answer to you if such a need should arise.
Developing the skill sets needed for the services we offer is a comprehensive process only to be afforded with time. Surprisingly enough, the concept of finish carpentry relative to our services is never marketed or mentioned much at all with other companies. One has to impart such a mindset and develop it within those willing before it can be offered. We’ve done just that. This is why I represent my personnel as Carpenters and Craftsmen. Of course, not all projects require the refined skill sets of a formally trained finish carpenter however, we instill in our training of personnel; A mindset of owning one’s work; The fundamentals of process and procedure and extensive training with tools and techniques. This constant training transfers a sense of value that most only appreciate in the skill sets of finish carpenters or remodelers yet I insist that a sense of value and purpose must exist within any endeavor. We are Superior Exteriors Northwest and if you look closely at our body of work you may just realize that if we’ve touched something it will be as good as it gets and second to none.

Conversions

The term conversion references a specific number and set of processes needed to make changes to the size of the rough opening for any given window or door just, as it would, for other instances when an opening may not currently exist though such would add functionality to a given space. This includes proper lighting or access to a planned patio or existing deck. Whichever the circumstance, we have the experience to help you make these changes. Whether you wish to install a bay or bow window, open up a wall and install a 4-panel French or patio door, or just reduce or increase the height of a window - we’re qualified to make all such modifications – no matter the level of complicity.
Depending upon your intentions, we may need to do minor framing with sheetrock tape and texture or even major structural changes. These sorts of projects can be too complex for most average “companies” however, you can count on us to perform the work with exceptional results.
