Cedar fencing is available in different grades, species and thickness. We offer Western Red Cedar #1 Tight Knot and Clear grades of cedar fencing with or without lattice and post caps. Tight knot cedar is not as premium a cut as clear and is priced as such. However, it’s not the grade so much as it is the thickness of the fence board that greatly affects the bare and basic qualities of even, a well-built fence. What happens with standard style fences with wafer thin fence boards is abnormal to severe twisting and popping of knot holes. Peckered with popped knot holes and twisting Mrs. Daisy weathers your new fence. What’s the point? Call the Choir! Yes…. we could build you that fence however, only with three stretchers.
